Grant Tyson, President of The Pool Surgeon, brings over a decade of industry experience and a deep passion for pool care to every job. Known for his hands-on approach and commitment to excellence, Grant leads with integrity, professionalism, and a sharp eye for detail. Under his leadership, The Pool Surgeon has earned a reputation across Dallas for reliable pool equipment repair, expert filter cleaning, and thorough inspections.
Matt Rubel
Field Tech
Matt Rubel has been in the pool industry since 2011. He lives in Gainesville with his wife, Brittney, and his daughter Payton. He began working at the Pool Surgeon in 2018 and has his Texas Appliance Installers License. He enjoys working on cars, fishing, and spending time with my family.
Cecil Jamison
Field Tech
Cecil Jamison has been in the pool industry since 1983. He lives in Plano and is happily married to his wife, Lori. He has a beautiful daughter, Skylar. He started working at The Pool Surgeon 1996 and has his Texas Appliance Installers License. Among other things, he is a Certified Pool Operator, a certified scuba instructor, and enjoys parenthood by running around for Skylar’s cheer competitions and activities.

Mike Bunton, a skilled Field Technician at The Pool Surgeon, is known for his dedication, technical know-how, and friendly service on every job site. With a strong background in pool equipment repair and maintenance, Mike takes pride in diagnosing issues quickly and getting pools back to peak performance with precision and care. Harold & Rose Evans
Founders
We are Harold & Rose Evans. We started the Pool Surgeon in 1984 after moving back and forth from Texas to California and back. I was drawn to the industry because I had a good understanding of electricity, thanks to my grandfather, and felt we could operate our pool business and enjoy my family life at the same time. Providing excellent service and treating everyone by the same rule, The Golden Rule, has always been something that we live by every day and what we wanted to bring into our business. We are not as involved in the day to day activity anymore, instead spending time mentoring with the various family members we have in the business and more time with the grandkids. Watching our business transition to the second generation of family is one of the more gratifying things we’ve been a part of and enjoy every minute of the journey. Hopefully our grandkids will want to be a part of this great industry that has provided so much to our family. We want to thank all of our customers for their support over the years and hope that our family can continue to support yours moving forward.
